The Hilton Metropole in Birmingham sits just outside the National Exhibition Centre with good links throughout the country, Birmingham airport at its doorstep and good train links too. All excellent reasons why it’s one of the more desirable locations to host the perfect event.
Our client approached us to supply full technical production and audio visual equipment for their leadership conference taking place at the venue’s largest conference facility, the Monarch Suite. Following a site visit with all organisational members we presented them with several options including AV equipment, lighting, staging and sound equipment as well as fully bespoke stage set design build and installation. Our clients requirements were simple, to supply high impact audio video equipment to facilitate short, punchy and memorable presentations fuelling growth within their management team.
We proposed that the event be centralised around a large bright Ultra-wide projection screen . Four Christie HD projectors were used to total a 3240 x 1080 resolution blending them together mid screen to achieve the 3:1 ratio. The size of the screen meant a perfect viewing experience for any delegate in any location in the room, its ultra-wide ratio allowed for a fresh and interesting look which matched the company’s innovative slides designs and there was a lot of positive feedback about specific parts of the day that help avoid the notorious 3 o’clock wall that we are all so used to hitting mid-afternoon these in darkened, humid conference rooms.
The JMPS team transformed the venue for the evening part of the event which was concluded with a short awards ceremony before guests were treated to entertainment in the hotel. The JMPS team supplied wireless LED uplighters, distributed PA systems and moving head lighting for this before making sure all was clear for the busy hotels next event.
