SAMI at DSEI
The Brief
We have provided audio visual production and exhibition installation for Saudi Arabian Military Industries on several occasions now. This time they required a 1.8mm fine pitch touch screen LED wall to be mounted into their stand for Defence and Security Equipment International (DSEI) arms fair held at Excel London.
Our Approach
Our LED display was the focal point, catching the attention of attendees, drawing them into the SAMI stand. The single laser scanner was mounted directly above the screen allowing for the whole surface to be used as a simultaneous multi-touch controller for use with the clients software.
Our Clients Thoughts
Due to the close proximity of any guests at the stand the resolution had to be very high, allowing for sharp, crisp graphics. Our client was impressed with the small 1.8mm pixel pitch that we supplied. We also overcome the challenge of having to fit our wall into a pre assembled aperture, something we’d usually manage after the screen was in place.
